JASIR AL-JASSIM (SAUDI ARABIA) ADIDAS NITROCHARGE 1.0
If Saudi Arabia's 3-0 win over Bahrain was your pick of the international games over the weekend then you would have been given a first look at the next Nitrocharge colourway by Jasir al-Jassim. The upcoming black/flash orange paint job is scheduled for release before the end of the month.
KAI ROONEY (ENGLAND) NIKE HYPERVENOM PHELON
Wayne Rooney's eldest son Kai laced up in matching boots to his old man's to walk out the Wembley tunnel on Saturday night. Kai was wearing a HyperVenom Phelon with the same personalisation as Wayne to mark his dad's 100th England cap.
ROB WIELAERT (MELBOURNE CITY) MIZUNO MORELIA NEO
We've often seen high profile players remove the branding from their boots in search of a new boot deal but we're not sure that's what Rob Wielaert is after with his Neos. The Melbourne City player has taken the Mizuno logo off the side of his boots to leave a clean, all-white upper. Why? Only he knows.
KEISUKE HONDA (JAPAN) MIZUNO WAVE IGNITUS III
Mizuno's lead player Keisuke Honda switched into the upcoming Wave Ignitus III colourway as Japan hammered Honduras 6-0 on Friday. The Diva/Blue/White drop will land in early 2015 as Mizuno begin to finalise their boot line-up for the new year.
ISMAIL AL-HAMADI (UAE) NIKE MERCURIAL VAPOR X CR7
Nike released Ronaldo's latest signature boot in a Vapor form as well as the main man's Superfly and if you can tolerate the heavy CR7 branding then you've got yourself one of the best looking Vapor X boots going. UAE's Ismail Al-Hamadi laced up in a pair this weekend as his country drew 0-0 with Oman.
AARON RAMSEY (WALES) NEW BALANCE
Aaron Ramsey confirmed the rumours on Sunday night by wearing the same whiteout boots he's been wearing for the past few weeks, only this time large 'N' branding featured on the outstep of the boot. The Arsenal midfielder is set to be unveiled as the brand's lead asset when the rebrand from Warrior to New Balance is complete.
MARCO MATERAZZI (CHENNAIYIN FC) NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND IV
Italy's World Cup winning defender of 2006 Marco Materazzi is now plying his trade in the Indian Premier League with Chennaiyin FC. In his prime the centre back wore the Mercurial Vapor but these days he's opting for comfort in the Tiempo Legend IV.
ANTONIO CANDREVA (ITALY) ADIDAS NITROCHARGE 1.0
Italy's Antonio Candreva trained ahead of his side's European Qualifier with Croatia in a blacked out pair of the current Nitrocharge. We've seen numerous players hang on to their original prototypes for training and chances are this is the case with Candreva, who was back in the launch colourway for the game.
ELLI REED (MELBOURNE VICTORY) NIKE HYPERVENOM PHATAL
Melbourne Victory's Elli Reed was sporting the women's specific Nike HyperVenom Phatal colourway at the weekend. The Bright Magenta/Atomic Orange/Black/Atomic Violet paint job was only launched in takedown models hence Reed's choice of Phatal rather the Phantom.
DEIVID (ATLETICO PR) ADIDAS ADIZERO F50
Another player to black out his boots at the weekend was Atletico PR's Deivid who tackled his solar blue f50 upper with a black pen. Deivid has left the heel of the boot untouched to pull off a pretty decent looking pair of unbranded wheels. At 35 he'll do well to pull in another boot deal though if they are in fact his tactics.
MAYA YOSHIDA (JAPAN) MIZUNO WAVE IGNITUS III
Keisuke Honda wasn't the only man sporting new boots in Japan's victory over Honduras. Southampton defender Maya Yoshida slipped into a secondary unreleased White/Black/Fiesta Wave Ignitus colourway, which is again, scheduled to drop at the turn of the new year. Ties in nicely with the Saints home kit, if he could get a game.
IAN MADIGAN (IRELAND) ADIDAS ADIZERO F50 MESSI
Shoutout to Conor Dempsey who emailed us this spot of Ireland eggchaser Ian Madigan wearing the previous signature Lionel Messi colourway against Georgia at the weekend.
