CHELSEA TO SIGN TURKISH AIRLINES KIT SPONSORSHIP DEAL

Turkish Airlines will become the new Chelsea Kit Sponsor from the 2015-16 season. English newspaper Daily Mail reported that Turkish Airlines are top of the list to replace the current shirt sponsor Samsung. Today, former Barcelona Marketing Officer Esteve Calzada, announced that Turkish Airlines will become the new Chelsea shirt sponsor from the 15-16 season.

Samsung has been the main sponsor of Chelsea FC since 2005, while the current sponsorship deal is reported to be worth £18million a season. The current Samsung Chelsea FC sponsorship contract expires in 2015.

POSSIBLE TURKISH AIRLINES SPONSORSHIP DESIGN

While no further contract details are known yet, it's likely that the new Chelsea 15-16 Kits will carry a similar logo design used for the Galatasaray 2014-2015 Champions League Kits. The possible design shows the Turkish Airlines lettering without the bird logo.

Last summer, Chelsea agreed a 10-year kit contract worth £300million with German brand adidas.

Turkish Airlines recently announced that they will sponsor Galatasaray in the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League, while Europe's fourth-biggest carrier by passengers also sponsors Manchester United since 2012.
